Having a positive outlook doesn’t come easy. Not for all of us anyway. Life pounds some of us with everything it has. Yet, there are people who live in ways that make it look like they have everything together, even if things are falling apart. That’s because they know that at some point, things will take a turn for the better. If it doesn’t we’re still going to live and expect the best out of life. Can anyone actually live like that?
Everything comes with time. While life may throw tantrums, we have seen people create amazing products and provide amazing service to their communities. This article may sounds like a call for business or actions, but keep reading. This is about seeding a mind ready for living. This is an article written for the people who believe God and are going through it.
Life isn’t always fair, and we won’t always be rescued from some of the things that happen to us, or that we do. God created a world and set things in motion that we sometimes don’t even know exist until we run into it. While we live, we may make mistakes or find ourselves in some trouble. A lot of times we just can’t find a way out.
I have had moments I wanted to give up and I have seen people at their wits end, especially since I began ministering. But as I have studied scripture and began living by Spirit of God I have learned several things. One of the most important thing is; “nothing is impossible for the one who believes”. Jesus first said it, but how do we live this attitude?
An outlook defined by the word of God looks for the good in everything. This sounds fake until we put the word of God into practice and change our minds. Changing our minds can be summed up in one word, repent. Repentance is coming into agreement with God. This is where outlooks can be shaped, if we allow the Lord to shape it.
To many, that means sit down and wait; but, someone who believes and then agrees with what they believe will see things differently. Their minds will begin to examine and then to process how to put this into practice. I have never known a better counselor or teacher than Lord, Yeshuah (Jesus Christ). Believers have this thing called prayer and faith.
Prayer sends our petition directly to God. What happens next for those who agree with God, is that He gives us what we ask and our faith allows us to understand what happens next. If we believe then we know that what we ask in Yeshuah’s name, the Lord will do for us. A lot of believers tend to say, if we ask in God’s will; a catch-22.
Yeshuah answers that by saying, “The work of God is to believe in the one whom He has sent”. Lord Yeshuah (Jesus) also said “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you”. A believer living by the new nature of the Spirit is righteous because God makes us righteous, because of Jesus Christ. That is our faith in knowing that what we ask is in His will.
When we are in the will of God we are not totally selfish. But the mind of those shaped by God comes to fruition in that we walk in believing what God says about the people of His kingdom. That sets our hearts in a way that changes our outlook in the troubles we tend to find ourselves in.
One of the things I have noticed over time as I have matured is that God didn’t change the things that used to make me anxious. He instead changed me. By studying the word of God and speaking to Him about His word, I sat with the Lord and learned and examined my life and reflected on how much my thoughts have changed; how clean and pure they are.
Problems and temptations have a way of finding us. Thos who agree with the Lord know this is the formula we face in this lifetime; but something in us goes out looking for the things God says about us. Blessed. Work of our hands, blessed. His possession. His kingdom. Holy. Righteous. We do not need to do anything but believe and choose the way of God.
We also know this to be true; “God works everything together for the good of us who are love God and are called according to His purpose”. So the turning point of our suffering begins as the problems begin. We begin to pray and to praise and to worship Yah our savior because we know that we enter trouble with the Lord by our side.
A positive outlook that delivers on the vision of the positive has nothing to do with our own will. The outcomes are in our agreement with God. For the times we don’t get rescued right away or at all, we’ve set our minds on trusting the Lord to work out the details here or in the eternal life He promised us.
When our outlook is determined by our agreement in what God says, everything works out for good. We go looking for the good in life even if we suffer a little while because we have a God who sees everything we go through and has given us faithful, proven words that we live in the expectations of them. This makes all things possible to us because we believe God and live like it. So, believer, whatever you’re going through, open the Bible often and learn the lessons of the testimonies of what the Lord has done for our people from the beginning.
Then God said “Let us make Man in our image and in our likeness. Let them have dominion over the earth”. And also “Fear not for I am with you”. When we have those in front of us we know that even if we die, we’re just beginning to see good days because soon the Lord is going to wake us up to come into eternity.
