Imagine one day you want to get something and it suddenly shoots up fifty percent before you can get it. Then pressure is put on you to make a decision about something that seems completely unrelated. The only way it seem you can get what you want is to do what those putting pressure on you want you to do. But, a person who chooses to do without will have a long life.
The life we live can come with some unexpected twists. Most of what we share on Spiritseid is about positive things and great outcomes. But, sharing the gospel comes with a warning all believers are given in Revelation 13:17 of the Bible. It is about a time when believers will have to trade their faith in order to be able to spend the money they’ve earned.
Entering the kingdom of heaven fulfills a promise of eternity for all who believe and endure in that belief, in the word of God. The time is coming when the systems of the world bent on denying the rulership of God will deny His people.
Does it seem impossible? There was a time when people like myself were denied services or products in certain areas. They had to shop only in places designated for people like us brown skin folks. Today there are ebs of the system that created that oppressive form of society. We call it racism.
In today’s world, believers all need to be prepared for the day we cannot spend our money in some aspects of society, or all of it. We have the time now as we live and face pressures of life to conform or adapt to decisions, which attempts to force us into acceptance of the things we don’t agree with.
There are many forms of that going on in today’s society where certain people try to lump everything in one gross lump, as if we all believe the same thing. Funny thing is, some of the oppressors are the same ones asking the oppressed to accept their way of life. I’m not speaking about just one thing, because there are many.
The people of today ask believers not to push our belief in God on them, while passing laws that make it illegal to say no to something we don’t agree with. These are actual laws being put on the books by “lawmakers”, and I use that term loosely in this context. The laws being passed today don’t protect the rights of everyone, but laser-focuses on agendas that are antithetical to living in freedom.
The day will come when the laws are focused on the people of God, who keep the commandments of God. That may be you, if you’ve read this far. It may sound like a story for now because we don’t see the things being enforced. But we do in small ways where laws exist that forbid anyone from discussing God in certain public spaces. Separation of church and state, unless the church refuses to do some things the state says it has to and enforces those things.
We have gotten small breaks from the madness in America. Around the world we see brothers and sisters lose their lives, as the elders once did years ago when the church was first instituted, even by some church members. The time will come again where we must choose truth or currency. It will not be like in the movies where some are left behind.
Until the Lord comes to claim His own people from the world, we exist among each other. The kingdom of heaven gathering together to worship and praise the Lord. The world living their best lives. Each marching toward a settled end. But the people of God should begin to settle in their hearts that the way of God, they will not depart from no matter how much we lose.
