It’s been a few tough months of talking points with the American presidential elections. Some people have lost friends over their choice and others almost their sanity. Now that it’s over, take a break and remember to get back to life.
Whether your candidate won or lost, remember your friends and family need you as sane as possible. The USA will continue in its direction of change and hopefully grow closer and not farther apart. See if you can mend any fences that are worth mending, if they were broken down by this election politicing.
Compassion is greater than political affiliation. If you call your self a Christian that is what you should be focused on and if you’re not, leaving politics in last week would be great.
But take some time to just breath and let life be life. This week may be a great time to learn something new and focus on the present.
This week is also a good time to detox from all the political rhetoric and activities. Stand down and pray for the leadership of the nation. Moving forward it will be needed for calm heads and doing away with the fear some politicians are already ramping up.
Whatever you do, keep some love in your hearts toward others and share some great music and the Lord of possible. The world needs continual light shining.
