The Bible is historically accurate. If you’ve never read the Bible and only know what other people say about it, you can’t know that. If you read the Bible one or two times and think you know what’s in it, then you have missed the point of history. You learn by studying and observing, and applying information (theory and practical).
The Bible contains information relevant to everything mankind has done and are doing and will do. Historically accurate when we fully understand what is written in it. Scripture, the books of the Bible and the other books not included in some Bibles provide detailed information about the earth and what has happened on it, along with all of God’s creation.
When studied we understand the things that God has done and will do. His judgments and His word of life; that is, everything God says about mankind and planet earth. Those of us who believe God and turn to Him and open His testimonies (Scripture) learn something that the rest of mankind will never know. Life is determined by the knowledge God gives to those who He calls.
The words of the Bible tell us about God, who created everything. Earth is a part of creation and yet not all of it. But it is central to what is written in the Bible.
The Bible is an important part of earth’s history because it accurately described kingdoms that have come and gone. It foretold of those kingdoms long before they appeared and if we search scriptures carefully, we can know where those kingdoms originated and ended.
And yet history repeats itself by what we have done with the word of God. Mostly ignored and debated and used against one another, nation against nation. But the Bible tells of the years, two thousand years ago when God came down in the body of a man people don’t like hearing about. His name is Jesus Christ (Yeshuah Messiah).
The story of Jesus is a historical text of when the first man on earth disobeyed God. That decision brought sin and a usurper into the world. Jesus Christ was God’s answer for sin. A redemption for man, God’s creation. When we hear the gospel preached and believe in Jesus Christ, that God sent him into the world to redeem man from sin; we are forgiven the sin the man committed all those years ago.
Historically, God had chosen a people; Israel, out of all the people on earth. Israel was set up as God’s kingdom on earth, but the Bible says they chose idols and God sent Jesus to restore them. Jesus came from Judah of Israel. The Bible tells us in John 3:16 that whoever believes in Jesus will inherit immortality.
But, those who believe and study the Bible and scripture to gain the knowledge of God gain both knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Those who endure and stick with God’s word are given eyes to see. Some who compare history to the Bible get to see prophecies that have come and gone and are coming into being even now. But those who glance through the Bible will find out one day that everything written in it, is written accurately. God did testify that man would write books, but His words would be written accurately.
When we study the Bible the story of Jesus Christ comes to life and gives us insight into who the creator of the world is and what He plans for the earth. In Jesus we will inherit the Earth when sinners (Evil people, wicked people, godless people, cowards, homosexuals) are removed from the earth at its judgment and recreation. All of us are given a chance during life to change our minds and come back to God and His order.
Those who choose the knowledge of God, change their minds and turn back to God. They will exalt God to His rightful place as King of their lives and will inherit life in Jesus Christ. That life won’t end. We expect to live out our lives and sleep until Jesus comes back to take us away from earth to remake it.
The story of the Bible is mostly of God’s work of creation, redemption, and forgiveness of mankind. The importance of the Bible can be summed up in small phrases; God created, man disobeyed, God sent Jesus Christ His Son into the world to redeem man from death and sin and the effects of sin. When we believe and study the Bible over the course of our lives, we discover a great struggle happening right under our noses.
The Bible accurately describes how the world came to be and a spiritual battle going on all around us. Our only hope is to turn back to God and to obtain His knowledge by studying. The importance of the Bible becomes apparent to those who truly believe and apply themselves to the study of scriptures.
The Bible is historically accurate; We know this as we study because we come to realize that we are living out the words of the Bible’s predictions in a kingdom and nations that the Bible said would exist in the last days. How long are these last days? Only God knows that. But the nations today have all been predicted with the heads of unions and the 7 hills. The 7 hills covers the whole world and will only make sense to those to whom it will make sense.
The Bible is historically accurate also about how people live today. Knowledge is easily accessible – Daniel 12:4. People can find teachers who can teach them anything at all – 2 Timothy 4:3. If you truly want knowledge spend time in the Bible and speaking to God about the world He created, and will judge for all of its crimes.
