Failure isn’t always the end result. Failure is a launchpad for those who are strategic enough to recognize its usefulness. Even when others set us up to fail with everything against us, that is not the result we have to see. The Bible makes it plain for those of a spiritual nature, “yet a little while, and the one who is coming will come and not tarry”.
When our backs are against the wall, even by design, the best thing to do is to make up our minds to look for solutions. There will always be problems. It does sound a lot easier than it is. But the things we give our minds to we become. Those who operate in the spiritual realm know this; particularly those of us who turn to God.
Not that we always win because we believe in God, but we know that our struggles are just the surface of what’s happening. In our efforts and failures there are valuable lessons and, the knowledge that even failures can be useful. When we set our minds toward solutions in our day to day, a new mindset is developed. One that immediately sees the trouble and begins to ask look for solutions rather than stare at problems.
Armed with the knowledge that Jesus said nothing will be impossible hits different when we’re in a crunch. That is because our faith in our abilities and especially in the word of God being true, our minds are empowered by prayer and the understanding that Jesus Christ is a refuge for us, simply because we believe in Him.
When we face problems because of this knowledge, over time our minds enter prayer mode and begin to look for solutions. Those of us who see the brighter side face problems a lot differently. We are positive because we have seen how useful problems and obstacles can be to practice what we preach. This particular lifestyle is ours because God has said He would be with us in every trouble we face. We believe that even in the worst case scenario, we will one day sing “death where is your sting”.
This is not to brag or undermine the struggle of people who have problems every day. We all have problems because of the lives we live. When we’re relaxed trouble seem to come looking for us anyway. Why not become someone who asks, what are my solutions here? After you’ve come through, ask, how can that be useful?
Developing a mind that seeks solutions rather than sinks into problems takes time and effort. I mean, like, intentional effort. For me, having a positive mind meant looking at the bright side. That was until I learned that putting that bright side into action produced excellent results. That is called wisdom; a benefit of believing in Jesus Christ who helps me live this new life of faith I’m living until he returns.
If you are a believer under duress, remember what the Lord said about you. If you do not believe in Jesus yet, let’s have a talk without the judgment. My former life writing erotic novels didn’t disqualify me from learning about God’s kingdom. I am willing to share the truth with anyone who finds this and has questions about Jesus Christ or the kingdom of heaven.
With God there are no delayed results, because those who truly believe from the heart are brought to great outcomes by the Lord. No, it’s not always what we want or, positive. But we learn and grow and have the Lord with us through every struggle. When you believe and are tried your mind can know that you will come out like gold.
Will give some tips for developing this mindset. Check back soon.
