Can Patience and Observation be the Key to Solving Problems or is There Something Better?

From time to time, we all have things we want to make right. Life sometimes throws us all sorts of curves. There are times we fall from our usual station to the lowest places in our psyche or our emotions. What happens then really depends on a myriad of factors that may or may not depend on some external forces. Life can be complicated, to say the least.

When things happen to complicate our lives or make it a living hell, we tend to want to fix things. It is a normal reaction when circumstances in our lives are messed up. The remedy can be emotionally taxing.

But we do work to get things back to a good perspective, at least in our eyes. While actions are always a great part of any plan, observation and planning should not be understated; but what about praying and patience?

In any situation, having the time to observe can be the point of make or break for anyone. Observation can take place whether we’re engaging or resting. Observation is the point of any event where one party stops to pay attention to what’s going on. See the landscape. Get a sense of the urgency. Field the players involved and other important details that one may otherwise miss.

Those who are observant usually come up with solid plans based on what they see. An important part of observing is sometimes detaching one’s self from the circumstance and activities. This gives a person time to play the role of an analyst. Great plans come out of people who make a habit of observing their surroundings.

But, a man or woman who prays has something even the keenest observer doesn’t have. The wisdom of the ages. A prayer now can be answered at critical times. Unlike observing and planning, when we pray, we pray to God who acts on our behalf. We know this is true because that is what is written in the Bible.

Prayer can take the circumstances out of our hands and place it solely in the hands of God. The Bible tells us that God is a refuge for those who trust in Him. What that means is, when we pray, sometimes the end result of our activities come from supernatural outcomes. This can mean results that look like they’re totally against us working out in our favor, assuming we believe that God will do what we ask.

So those who pray are believers in God and in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Does that make us special? The Bible tells us that we are God’s special possessions. But that does not make us more special. A lot of us were once people who did not believe. When we believed and started to pray, God opened the door of our hearts so we could get to know what we believe.

Funny thing is, God reveals Himself to us when we believe Him. Those of us who believe in God and continue to pray and study the Bible come to a knowledge of God and are able to get great wisdom and discernment from God. Some of this can make us seem as if we are living supernatural lives.

While results may vary person to person, the premise is the same, because God invites us alongside Himself as we live our lives.

The best part is, those who pray also observe because part of the change we go through as we gain the knowledge of God is patience. Patience is a potent state of being. Coupled with prayer, patience is like a sledgehammer to problems. A patient prayer warrior can live a life that seems as if they never have problems. That is because, as they pray, they wait on the Lord to move for them and will not move until God does.

Can you become a prayer warrior?

The answer is yes. One of the greatest things about God is, we don’t do things on our own. I mean, we do things alone, but Jesus Christ is with us in everything we do. We also get the Holy Spirit sent to us from God. A gift Jesus sent to us when he went back to heaven to sit at the right hand of God.

In short, being a man or woman who prays when they have problems in their lives has better benefits than an entire army. God, who created all things, takes care of those who believe in Him. He also gives us many good things in this life, as we live with our minds on the future, He has promised to all who will believe in Him.
