Forgiveness Devotional

It’s safe to say people spend a lot of time thinking about forgiveness; how to get forgiveness, should we offer forgiveness to someone else, will God forgive us for something we did. While we struggle with the answers to the topic of forgiveness, God makes it clear in the Bible that He forgives us – Psalms 103 verse 12. Have faith in His word.

There are tons of references (Hebrews 8:12) of God forgiving people, all people, on almost every page of the Bible. God gives us Salvation and forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ (Isaiah 7:12, psalms 3:8, Revelation 19:1). We only need to accept and believe in Jesus and confess that belief with our own mouths (Romans 10:9, Luke 12:8, John 6:40). Believe that Jesus Christ, the son of God died and resurrected for your sins and confess your sins in prayer, in the name of Jesus. You are forgiven. According to 1st John 1:9 God is faithful and just to forgive our sins, according to His promises.

Don’t waste time looking for elaborate ways to go to God. He only wants us to accept Jesus Christ and Salvation in Jesus. That’s forgiveness.

Spiritseid devotional prayer bookmark

Prayer: God of heaven and earth, I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus is your son. I accept your forgiveness and salvation you gave me through the cross if Jesus Christ. Lord, I submit my life to you so that I can live in freedom from sin and to be guided to the life you have for me in Jesus Christ. I ask in the name of Jesus that you help me lay down my life of sin, for life in Jesus, your Son. Amen!
